| Bayou La Batre has a atmosphere I haven't found anywhere else. I didn't grow up in Bayou La Batre nor did I visit it often. My love for the place grew from old photos and other things kept from long ago. I have wondered maybe your born with the place in your blood. There is a odd thing about BLB. I call it "flashbacks" but what ever way you describe it maybe you know what I'm talking about? Without even trying |
| something will catch my eye. A twisted tree, an old peir, maybe just something in the air, but it will be as though your 100 years before! The modern world seams to disappear and it's the same as when my Great Great Uncle photographed it back in the early 1900's! |
