Ancestry of my Great Great Grandfather, George Smee

My Great Great Grandfather, George Smee Sr. was born to William and Maria Smee in 1838 in Brentwood Essex, England. Very little is known about George's ancestery but it is known he had at least 5 brothers and sisters. One being that of Frances Thomas Raven Smee who at sometime moved to Austraila and married a girl by the name of Elizabeth Jefferson. "Frank" and Elizabeth had 4 children one being a Maria Smee who maried a Henry Peddie. George at a young age went to the U.S and he served in the Civil War with Rabby's Coast Guard. George married H. A. Grelot . They together had 8 children, one being my Great Grandfather George Smee. George married Lillian Crenshaw daughter of Angus M. Crenshaw and Mary J. Goleman. George and Lillian had 7 children one of which, my Grandfather, Walter Frederick Smee who married a girl that was born in Bashi Clarke Co. Alabama. Her name, Frances Daureen Carleton
