Nicholas II was born cur. 1869 to Tsarina Maria
Feodorovna and Tsar Alexander III.
Maria Faodorovna
was the daughter of Louise of Hesse-Cassel and
King Christian IX of Denmark.
Tsar Alexander
III was the son of Tsarina Maria Alexandrovna and
Tsar Alexander II.
Family of
Tsarina Alexandra
Alexandra
(Feodorova) was born cur. 1872 and was the
daughter of Grand Duke Ludwig IX of
Hesse-Darmstadt and the grand daughter of Queen
Victoria of England through the Queen's daughter
Alice.
Alexandra's
mother Alice died fairly young in 1878 leaving
her six year old Alexandra to be basicly raised
by her grandmother Victoria. This exsplans why
Alexandra's language of choice was English and
her ways Victorian.
